Choose a scene you actually enjoy
Use a brief conversation with an obvious situation: an introduction, a request or an argument you can follow visually. Familiar context lets you concentrate on how the characters speak.
Two subtitle tracks or two short passes
If the selected player supports dual subtitles, place the languages where both remain readable. Otherwise watch the same short scene once with translation and again with original-language captions when available. FshareTV does not supply a dual-subtitle player here.
Keep expressions in their scene
Write down a useful phrase with who says it and why. A dictionary meaning alone may miss sarcasm, politeness or a regional use. Do not assume a dramatic line belongs in ordinary conversation.
Stop before the film loses its rhythm
Pick a small number of lines to revisit. Replaying every sentence can obscure the story and turn a relaxing evening into a test. This is a viewing habit, not a guarantee of language-learning results.
